Peking University, March 3, 2022: The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics came to a triumphant close in February, but the fervor for ice and snow sports in the dual-Olympic city is only just beginning.
Two international students shared their views after they took part in the Games.
Pozhidaeva Alexandra, a postgraduate from Russia at Peking University, told China Daily that she was deeply moved by the enthusiasm of Chinese and foreign friends, as she was an actor at the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. She hoped she could show a harmonious, open and inclusive China through their performance.
Wilson Barroso Diaz, a PhD candidate from Cuba at Renmin University of China, said he realized his life dream to watch both the opening and closing ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. He said both Beijing 2008 and Beijing 2022 were amazing.
