Abstract:
In this talk, we give describe several graphs that can be attached to groups.We describe a tour of several research problems involving these graphs. We introduce background about characters. We close by outlining a number of research problems involving characters.
Biography:
Supervised by Martin Isaacs, Mark Lewis graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1995. Currently, Mark Lewis serves as tenured professor at Kent State University and has published more than 160 papers in top SCI journals. He is regarded as an internationally renowned expert in group representation theory. In recent years, Mark Lewis has served on the editorial boards of Comm. Algebra and JAA.
