Biography:
Prof. Ivan Krastev is a Bulgarian political scientist and an expert in European studies. He studied philosophy in his early years, then specialized in European studies. He is one of the founders of the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR). Currently, he serves as the professor at the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) and the editor-in-chief of the Bulgarian edition of "Foreign Policy". He is also the author of "After Europe", "In Mistrust We Trust" and "The Light that Failed".
