Abstract:
This course introduces the principles of public spending and the role of government, combining theoretical and empirical learning with practical experience, and provides knowledge and skills applicable in government, business and international organizations.
Biography:
Dr.Schuknecht's previous experience include: Visiting Professor of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Singapore; Chief Economist and Director General, Germany's Federal Finance Ministry; Senior expert at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Trade Organization (WTO); Deputy Secretary-General of OECD.
