With the adjustment of China's immigration policy, Peking University Summer School International 2023 will return to the Peking University campus. But there will also be a handful of online courses to provide more choice.

Eligibility

1 - Be between the ages of 18 and 40 (inclusive), and in good health;
2 - Be currently attending college/university;
3 - Academic records that meet the requirements (specific requirements will be adjusted according to the current year's application)；
4 - Have proof of proficiency in English (required of non-English native speaking students, scores of TOEFL, GRE, or IELTS serve as reference).

Application Fee: Application Fee (non-refundable) is RMB 400 per person.

Tuition Fees: Online Courses Only:

Within 4 PKU credits: 11000 RMB (Early Bird Rate), 12000 RMB (Regular Rate)
5 PKU credits: 13000 RMB (Early Bird Rate), 14000 RMB (Regular Rate)
5 PKU credits: 15000 RMB (Early Bird Rate), 16000 RMB (Regular Rate)

※On-site Courses Only/ Online Courses + On-site Courses:（This rate will be applied whenever an on-site course is included in your course list.）

Within PKU credits: 15000 RMB (Early Bird Rate), 16000 RMB (Regular Rate)

※ Early Bird refers to applicants who apply and complete the online payment for tuition before April 15, 2023.  Each student can choose courses with no more than 6 credits.

Course Information

Each student can choose courses up to 6 credits. In this context, applicants can choose only online courses or only on-site courses, or a combination of them (without time conflicts).

Academic courses with PKU credits are offered for undergraduates, graduates, and working professionals. A variety of course credits, subjects and durations are available to choose. Please note that different combinations are subject to different tuition fees.


Accommodation

· Accommodation is available only to students who have chosen the on-site course, and the length of the accommodation depends on the length of the on-site course chosen by the applicant, i.e. two weeks if the applicant has chosen a two-week on-site course; If the applicant chooses the four-week on-site course, the length of the stay is four weeks. PKUSSI 2023 will not provide accommodation for students who choose online courses.

· Students can apply for on-campus accommodation at the PKU Global Village (opposite PKU east gate). Please note that vacancy is limited and on first-apply first served basis. Priority will be given to early bird applicants who apply and complete the online payment for tuition before April 15, 2023.

· Successful applicants will be assigned to the dormitories consisted of two or three bedrooms (one student occupies one room) with a shared living room and shared bathroom. Air-conditioning, and cable Internet are available.

· Payment for housing will be at the reception desk upon check-in.
