Abstract:

Liu Xin is the award-winning host of The Point with Liu Xin, a flagship opinion show on CGTN. Her professional career spans over 25 years, from news-reading and overseas reporting to hosting talk shows, which gives her a deep and comprehensive understanding of the art of storytelling. She is twice winner of China News Award, the top national award in journalism. Her televised debate with a former US counterpart in 2019 won her international recognition. She is currently the most followed Chinese journalist on Twitter, with a total numer of followers exceeding 2.5 million on overseas social media.
