Biography:

Prof. Dirk M.Guldi is one of the world’s leading scientists in the field of charge transfer and nanocarbons. ln particular, he is well-known for his outstanding contributions to the areas of charge-separation in donor-acceptor materials and the construction of nanostructured thin films for solarenergy conversion. His group is involved in the designing, devising, synthesizing, and testing of novel nanometer scale structures as integrative components for photoelectrochemical devices.

Biography:

Federico Rosei is a Professor and Former Director of lnstitut National de la Recherche Scientifique, Energie, Matriaux et Tecommunications, Varennes (QC) Canada. He has held theJunior Canada Research Chair in Nanostructured Organic and lnorganic Materials(2003-2013) and the Senior Canada Research Chair in Nanostructured Materials (2016-2023). He also held the UNESCC Chair in Materials and Technologies for Energy Conversion, Saving and Storage(2013-2023).

Title: Solid-Phase Molecular Self-Assembly and the Relating Materials

Speaker: Yun Yan, Peking University

Biography:

Yun Yan is a Yangzi Professor of Peking University. She isc urrently the General Secretary of Physical Chemistry of Chinese Chemical Society, as well as members of the Association of Aggregation Induced Emission and Colloid and lnterface Chemistry of Chinese Chemical Society. She also serves as Advisory Board member of ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Fellow of the International Association of Advanced Materials (FIAAM).

Title: Publishing with the Royal Society of Chemistry

Speaker: Dr.Neil Hammond, Publisher, Open Access Journals, Royal Society of Chemistry

Biography:

Neil holds a PhD in Nuclear Physics from Liverpool University, and conducted research at Argonne National Lab in the USA, co-authoring more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals before leaving scientific research to begin a career in academic publishing. He has served in various roles for a number of publishers over the last 15+ years and has worked with a diverse range oacademic communities and learned societies. He is currently the Publisher for Open Access Journals at the Royal Society of Chemistry, carrying responsibility for the development and growth of the RSC's open access journals programme.
