Abstract:
The Summer Meeting in Urban Economics, China seeks to promote participation and excellence in academic research in urban and regional economics. We especially encourage the submission of research on urban issues in China and developing countries. The meeting is formed of high-quality keynote lectures and contributed papers dealing with the economics of cities, housing, real estate, transportation, local public good provision, and the distribution of economic activity in space. The meeting will provide an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration with leading experts in the field.
The 2nd Summer Meeting in Urban Economics, China is set to occur at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University in Beijing, on August 28-29, 2024. The event will feature two keynote speeches by esteemed urban scholars: Vernon Henderson and Matthew Turner.
