Professor Xu Guoqi, Ph.D. of Harvard University in History and famous scholar on international history, serves as professor at the University of Hong Kong (HKU).

Professor Xu has published many books about Chinese history in relation to the world, such as China and the Great War (2006), Olympic Dreams: China and Sports 1895-2008 (2008), Strangers on the Western Front: Chinese workers in the Great War (2011) and Chinese and Americans: A shared history (2014). His articles are often posted on mass media, such as The New York Times and The Washington Post.
