Intro: In regard to gender equality, it is hard to grasp its essence solely from the perspective of gender per se, without the consideration of the functions of class, tribes, and even schools. This lecture tries to involve the factor of class in the discussion of gender equality. Different classes have different gender orders. According to the recent research, the informal courses offered by schools also have influence, though vague, on gender equality, and need further research.

Intro: Prof. Huang will illustrate the history of the two-dimensional conformal quantum field theory becoming a mathematical theory over the last twenty years and its current development, as well as the mathematical problems solved by this theory.

Intro: Prof. Yang, who got his Master of Development Economics from Cambridge University, and his Doctor degree of Banking and Finance from London University, once worked for the State Planning Commission as the deputy general manager of Head Office of Bank of China in 1980s.

Below is what he will talk about in the lecture:
1. Make an objective evaluation of the planned economy, and sum up its experience.
2. Look back on a fierce controversy in the field of international economics, and analyze the reasons why the development of China is still not balanced, coordinated and sustainable.
3. Offer suggestions that the reinforcement of planned management and macro-control of local governments on the basis of improvement of market mechanism is in need, as well as the reinforcement of integrated planning, venture management, and internal controls in corporate governance.
