Peking University, March 10, 2026: In the recently concluded 2026 National 3x3 Basketball Championship in Weifang City, the Peking University (PKU) Women’s Basketball Team delivered an outstanding performance, clinching the U21 championship and finishing runner-up in the U23 division, showcasing incredible skill and esprit de corpes.

The U21 team was a dominant force, remaining undefeated through the semi-finals. In a thrilling final against a tough Shandong team, the scores remained tied after regulation, sending the game into overtime. Holding firm under pressure, PKU clinched a dramatic 19-18 victory.
Meanwhile, the U23 squad fought their way to the final before falling 12-18 to an undefeated Shandong team. Despite the loss, their relentless effort and gritty play earned widespread praise.
Bringing together 16 elite women’s teams from across the country, the two-day women’s tournament featured 40 intense matchups that tested players' tactical execution, adaptability, and physical endurance.
These achievements embody PKU’s physical education philosophy: "A robust character begins with sports". Bringing home these honors not only validates the players' hard work, but also provides invaluable tournament experience for the rising stars as they prepare for future high-level competitions.
