Peking University, Beijing, April 21, 2009: On the evening of April 18th, the Concert of Chinese Classics was held in the South Wing Lecture Hall in the Library of Peking University. It was the first of a series of performances to be given by art associations on campus in the Love Art Week.
The nearly-2-hour performance was the fruit of joint efforts of student members of the Flute Association, the Piano Association and the Costume Culture Association for Communication.
As the questionnaires filled in by the audience showed, the activity of the Love Art Week was warmly welcomed by the students. Besides the concert, there will be seven wonderful performances to come. The activity will not only provide a stage for students to show themselves, but also promote the construction of the second class and the campus culture and to enrich the campus life.
