Ding Mingda introduces the planning of Huairou Science City

Biomedical imaging technology is one of the core driving forces to promote the progress from the discovery of basic physical and biological principles to medical practice. With the support of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Beijing Municipality, Peking University joined forces with other academies to build a national major scientific and technological infrastructure: the Huairou Science City. At present, in order to further participate in the construction of Huairou Science City, Peking University is actively preparing to build Huaimi medical center and nuclide probe platform, a supporting auxiliary facility for imaging facilities like Huairou Science City.
