Prof. Wei Yan presented with the eighth Shulan Medical Youth Award

Peking University, November 26, 2021: The eighth award ceremony of Shulan Medicine Award, sponsored by the
Academician Shusen Lanjuan Talent Foundation (or Shu Lan Foundation for
short), was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province on November 20.
Professor Wei Yan from Peking University Hospital of Stomatology, along
with eleven other young scientists and scholars in the field of medicine
were presented with the Shu Lan Medical Youth Award this year.
The Award Ceremony
Prof Wei Yan was awarded the Excellent Young Scientists Fund by the
National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and recognized by
the Ten Thousand Talents Program as one of China’s top young talents. As
an International College of Dentists (ICD) fellow, Wei is also on the
editorial board of The Journal of Gene Medicine.
Professor Wei Yan
Shulan Medicine Award was established by Academician Shusen Lanjuan
Talent Foundation. It is designed to boost the development of medical
science in China by awarding outstanding Chinese talents who have made
new breakthroughs in the field.
