Peking University, October 29, 2021: On October 22, foreign experts from China Foreign Affairs University, Minzu University of China and colleagues from international relations departments were invited by PKU Foreign Expert Club to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China.
Foreign experts were first guided to Peking University Library to visit the theme exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The exhibition on display gave foreign experts a deeper understanding of the historical origin and profound ties between Peking University and the Communist Party of China over the past 100 years.
Foreign experts then visited the King Abdulaziz Public Library Branch in Peking University, where they enjoyed the colorful Arab style interior design, as well as the collection of books from both Arab and ancient China. Accompanied by deputy curator Abed Ali A Alshreef, they also visited the "Oriental wisdom - Sino Saudi calligraphy culture exchange exhibition" and witnessed traditional Arabic calligraphy and Chinese calligraphy.
Finally, foreign experts visited the Weiming Lake, the Boya Pagoda and Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research and took photos together.
