School of Physics wins four 2021 Annual Journal Contribution Awards of SCPMA

Peking University, April 8, 2022: Recently, SCIENTIA SINICA Physica, Mechanica & Astronomica (SCPMA) announced the results of the 2021 Annual Journal Contribution Awards. Peking University School of Physics won one Outstanding Paper Award and three Outstanding Editorial Board Honors.

After discussion among the editors, 16 English papers and 2 Chinese papers, along with the paper “Mixed-cationperovskite solar cells in space” [Sci. China-Phys. Mech. Astron. 62, 974221(2019)] received outstanding reviews. The paper is the first to study the stability of mixed-cationperovskite solar cells in near space, which will promote the optimization and innovation of energy devices for near space vehicles. It is of scientific significance for enhancing China's international competitiveness in near space. Peking University Boya Postdoctoral Fellow Tu Yongguang (currently the associate professor of Northwestern Polytechnical University) and Xu Guoning, researcher from the Aerospace Information Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences are the co-authors. Researchers Zhu Rui and Xu Guoning are co-corresponding authors.

Researcher Shi Kebin from the Modern Optics Institute and the State Key Laboratory for Artificial Microstructure and Mesoscopic Physics and 29 other  people from various institutions in China and abroad were selected as outstanding reviewers owing to the number of papers they have reviewed, reviewing period, reviewing quality and other factors.

Professor Xiao Yunfeng from the Modern Optics Institute and the State Key Laboratory for Artificial Microstructure and Mesoscopic Physics, academician Gao Ning from PKU School of Physics and the State Key Laboratory of Nuclear Physics and Technology and 18 other researchers were  selected as outstanding editors owing to their meticulous work and their active offering of suggestions for the development of the journal.

SCPMA is a comprehensive monthly journal run by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and co-sponsored by Chinese Academy of Sciences and National Natural Science Foundation of China. Academician Xie Xincheng from International Center for Quantum Materials of School of Physics is the chief editor. The Chinese version mainly publishes trending research topics and the English version is included in the SCI, EI, AD and other databases, with an impact factor of 5.122 in 2020.
