Noting that 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, Qiao encouraged the students to seize this precious opportunity to not only learn professional knowledge but also explore and appreciate the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Beijing.

Qiao also expressed her wish that the students would have a fulfilling experience in Beijing and PKU Medicine, apply their learning to clinical practice, and contribute to the development of Macao’s nursing sector.

With strong support from the National Health Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, and the Macao SAR Government, the Nursing Academy has developed smoothly over the past three years. It has achieved remarkable results and has significantly enhanced the overall level of nursing personnel training in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Macao.
