He Guangcai appointed Chair of the Peking University Council

Peking University, February 14, 2025: He Guangcai has been appointed Chair of the Peking University Council, with approval from the Central Committee of Communist Party of China (CPC), replacing his predecessor Hao Ping.
He Guangcai, born in October 1969, has a postgraduate education and holds the degree of Master of Arts in Education, CPC member. He served as Chair of the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) Council, Director of the Office of Inspections and Director-General of the Department of Personnel of the Ministry of Education, and Member of the CPC Leading Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education.
