Peking University, June 11, 2025: Peking University Third Hospital (PKUTH) showcased its rapid development in medical facilities and clinical trials at the 2025 DIA Drug Information Conference and Exhibition in Shanghai in late May, promoting PKU’s biopharmaceutical progress to an international audience including administration officials and industry experts.

Several experts from the PKUTH delegation, including Li Haiyan, Director of Drug Clinical Trial Institution of PKUTH, made academic reports at the Conference, detailing progress on clinical trials for siRNA cardiovascular disease drugs. The reports also shared research theories and implementation, case studies of clinical trials and risk control for trial participants.

On the sidelines, Li Haiyan and her 10-person delegation received multiple distinguished guests at the PKUTH booth, including Wang Hainan, Deputy Director of the Drug Registration Department of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA); Wang Xiangyu, Deputy Director of the China International Exchange Center for Food and Drug (CINDA); etc.

The delegation introduced the guests to the latest development at PKUTH, including construction of new research facilities and wards, clinical evaluations of new medicine and equipment, etc., winning widespread attention and praise.

The conference attracted thousands of industry experts from more than 30 countries and regions around the world, representing internationally leading medical institutions and private enterprises. PKUTH’s outstanding presence at this conference underscores the hospital’s prowess on the international stage.
