Professor Du Ruirui Named AAAS Fellow for 2025

Peking University, April 16, 2026: The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) announced its 2025 class of Fellows on March 26, 2026. Du Ruirui, Chair Professor at the School of Physics, Peking University, was elected in recognition of his outstanding contributions to condensed matter physics, particularly his pioneering experimental work on the fractional quantum Hall effect and composite fermions.

Founded in 1848, AAAS is the world's largest general scientific society. Since 1874, it has annually elected Fellows who have made significant contributions to the advancement of science and its applications.
