Huang Xiaojun wins IACH International Collaboration Award

Peking University, October 17, 2023: Recently, at the International Academy for Clinical Hematology (IACH) annual conference held in Paris, France, Prof. Huang Xiaojun from Peking University People's Hospital (PKUPH) was awarded the "International Collaboration Award" for his outstanding achievements in clinical hematology and key contributions to international cooperation.
Professor Mohamad Mohty, current chairman of IACH, pointed out in both his invitation letter and the awarding speech that, Prof. Huang Xiaojun is an outstanding hematologist who was the first in the world to successfully practice haplotype transplantation at the beginning of the 21st century, forming the "Chinese model" of haplotype hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
Mohty also highlighted that Prof. Huang has facilitated extensive international cooperation and played an unparalleled role in promoting unity and collaboration in the global clinical hematology community.
The International Collaboration Award honors a healthcare professional "who, as a practicing physician, demonstrates the ideals of hard work, global collaboration, and compassionate care patients suffering from hematological malignancies,” according to the IACH Meeting Organizing Committee.
