Peking University, October 23, 2023: The Peking University International Culture Festival 2023 ignited the stage with an electrifying showcase of talent, uniting students from across the globe in a magnificent celebration of diversity. 

Under the vibrant banner of "Harmony of Cultures," PKU international students lit up the atmosphere with captivating performances. From the fiery Mongolian dance to the soulful jazz rhythms of Peking University's FL Crew Jazz Team, each act served as a testament to the transformative power of cultural expression.

Wong Wengyan from Malaysia, who studies at the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, was grateful for the opportunity to perform onstage. "I feel immensely honored to represent Malaysia on the world stage of PKU and to share the diverse cultures of our country through dance. The International Cultural Festival has opened my eyes, broadening my horizons. Despite the challenges we faced during preparation, being able to perform and spread Malaysia's culture was the most satisfying and enjoyable experience for me."

The festival transcended borders, cultures, and languages, as crowds gathered for the flash mob dance outside the Republic of Ghana's booth. Wang Zixuan from the School of New Media Research exclaimed, "Even when language barriers exist, everyone can come together through song and dance. Happiness is contagious!"

As the sun cast its warm glow, festival-goers were left with a lasting hope for unity and peace, proving that culture possesses the remarkable ability to bring people together.

Peking University's 2023 International Cultural Festival stood as an extraordinary celebration of unity and diversity, etching an indelible mark on the hearts of all who attended.
