Peking University, December 5, 2023: The Guanghua International Fair 2023, an annual festival organized by Peking University's Guanghua School of Management, was held on Dec. 1, 2023. The event was aimed at providing Guanghua students with information about global engagement opportunities, introducing selection guidelines for exchange programs, and offering a platform for cultural exchanges.


Nearly 300 students, from Guanghua’s undergraduate and MBA programs, engaged in the fair. Joining them were over 100 students from Guanghua's "Future Leaders" International Undergraduate Program, Exchange Program, and Visiting Program, who served as ambassadors for their respective schools among 50 partner institutions. 

The well-decorated booths, along with event backdrops and videos made by Guanghua students who participated in the exchange program, set a lively and engaging atmosphere for the event. At the event, students were also enjoying the scratch card activity, which provided them with the chance to win creative products designed by Guanghua.
 

An information session took place after the fair to provide students with a clear understanding of the selection and nomination rules of the exchange program, as well as information about short-term study abroad opportunities. Senior Guanghua students who had participated in exchange programs served as peer advisors and shared valuable insights from their enriching experiences.

Participants from Guanghua expressed that the fair was not only a great opportunity to make new friends but also a chance to gain first-hand experiences of the target exchange schools. Li Renzhe, a Guanghua GMBA student, shared, "At the Guanghua International Fair, I not only gained a clear understanding of the selection rules and requirements for the overseas semester exchange program but also personally experienced the charm of different cultures and the details of life during overseas study through communication with institution representatives.” “This event has sparked my anticipation for future study abroad experiences!"

The most memorable aspect for me was being able to connect with local students as well as exchange and visiting students from around the world and learn more about their diverse backgrounds," said Julia Liu, a current exchange student from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
 

Guanghua has established partnerships with 134 universities worldwide, offering exchange programs in 36 countries across all major continents. These collaborations with distinguished institutions have benefited over 10,000 students in their pursuit of academic and social success. Each year, outstanding students from Guanghua's undergraduate, postgraduate, and MBA programs were selected for exchange programs at partner universities. Guanghua and its partner universities work together to support students in both their academic and personal development.
