Peking University, January 25, 2024: Yale University’s Vice Provost for Global Strategy, Steven Wilkinson, led a delegation to Peking University (PKU) on Jan. 18, 2024. Fang Fang, vice president of PKU, welcomed the guests at Linhuxuan.
After warmly greeting the Yale delegation, Fang Fang noted that PKU and Yale have a longstanding history of close exchanges and cooperation. He invited Yale faculty and students to visit PKU for exchanges and expressed anticipation in exploring additional potential areas of cooperation, including scientific research and joint classes.
On behalf of Yale, Wilkinson expressed gratitude to PKU for the warm reception and provided updates on Yale’s developments. He emphasized the abundance of niche subjects at both Yale and PKU, pointing out existing collaborations in law and summer schools. He expressed hope that through ongoing dialogues, more scholars and students would engage in reciprocal visits and exchanges between the two universities.
