Peking University, September 15, 2024: On August 31, 2024, Academician Qiao Jie led the online publication of “The BMJ Collection of Promoting Women’s Health in China”.
The British Medical Journal (BMJ) Collection was jointly completed by 9 core research teams and 44 author members from 36 medical and research institutions, which includes Peking University School of Public Health (PKUSPH), Peking University Third Hospital (PKUTH) and Peking University Sixth Hospital (PKUSH).

The BMJ Collection consists of nine articles, four of which were led by Academician Qiao Jie of PKUTH, Professor Zhan Siyan and Professor Huang Tao of PKUSPH, Professor Zhao Yangyu of PKUTH, and Professor Huang Yueqin of PKUSH. The lead authors were Researcher Wang Yuanyuan, Associate Researchers Meng Ruogu and Shi Huifeng, and Researcher Liu Zhaorui.
The BMJ Collection aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the major diseases and health problems in China’s women’s health , as well as the various challenges and deficiencies, so as to provide systematic policy recommendations and promotion strategies. At the same time, it also presents a Chinese approach in the field of women’s health promotion to other countries. This project has been supported and funded by the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Chinese Association of Women Physicians and various participating units.
