Peking University, November 8, 2024: Whistling from afar, the golden wind plays the prelude to international exchanges. The 21st International Culture Festival will be held at Peking University on November 10th!
The Peking University International Culture Festival, launched in 2004, was created with the University's strong commitment to fostering global diversity and broadening students' international outlook. Since its inception, the festival has evolved with numerous updates, consistently celebrating the vibrancy and diversity of cultures from around the world.
Let’s take a look at the various events waiting for you to join at this year’s festival!
On Campus Exhibition & Carnival
Here, you can cross the boundary of space and time, make friends with hospitable people from different countries, and gain a unique cultural interaction experience.
Before entering, please pick up your stamp collection booklet at the entrance during the suggested admission hours. The “Station Signs” installed in the park will guide you to the booths of different countries.
Experience the cultures and traditions of each country at each booth and collect commemorative stamps. Collect 25 or more stamps from all booths to receive souvenirs from the festival. Make your trip a memorable one!
*Gift pick-up time: half an hour after the end of each session, the first 5 participants will receive a souvenir gift bag, and the following participants will receive random souvenirs. Remember to redeem your gift!
1st session: 8:30-10:30 (opening ceremony is on 9:00, with joint performances by Chinese and international students)
2nd session: 10:30-12:00
3rd session: 12:00-13:30
4th session: 13:30-15:00
5th session: 15:00-16:30

The carnival is reservation-based. On the day of the event, please enter with your successful reservation SMS and your staff/student ID, and receive the stamp collection booklet. The event is divided into five time slots, so we kindly ask attendees to follow the suggested schedule.
To ensure safety, entry will be regulated according to the number of reservations and the real-time flow of people in the venue. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with the on-site security measures to maintain order within the venue.

Food Court
Accompanied by the aroma of delicious food, a warm welcome awaits you at the World Food Court. Exquisite cuisine from all five continents will bring your taste buds on a trip.

*Please arrive at the event venue 10 minutes before the start of your time slot (for example, participants in the first session of the morning slot should arrive at 9:50, and those in the second session should arrive at 10:10, and so on). Staff will guide participants to exit the venue within the last 5 minutes of each session.

1. Once you are successfully signed up, you will receive the confirmation SMS. Please go to Student Center to get the ticket with your successful reservation SMS and your staff/student ID card during 15:00-18:00 on November 9.
2. Overdue tickets will be reallocated by the organizer to the waiting audience on a first-come-first-served basis on the day of the event.
3. All participants are required to present their tickets for admission, which will be checked at the North Hall entrance on the second floor of Khoo Teck Puat Gymnasium on the day of the event. If faculty and staff need to bring underage children, only one child can be admitted per ticket.
4. The event is divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with a total of six-time slots. Each person can only register for one-time slot. Please go to the event venue according to the time slot you have successfully registered for, and do not enter during the time slot you have not registered for.
Handicraft Workshop
The Handicraft Workshop will arouse one’s creativity in designing. Enjoy the artistic beauty of foreign cultures and trace the spirit of civilization passed down through time.

Amusement Park
Here you can learn about the game culture of different countries, compete with “game masters” from all over the world, swim in the sea of culture and enjoy the fun of diversity!

Chess Contest
On the chessboard, Chinese and international students compete with wisdom and diligence, and build friendships through intellectual competition.
