Peking University, Mar. 11, 2012: Mr. Issa H. Alansari, President of Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, visited Peking University (PKU) on February 29th. Li Yansong, Vice-President of PKU welcomed the visitors at Linhuxuan.
Li introduced the current situation of PKU’s international communication. He pointed out that PKU had attracted students from more than 100 countries around the globe and had always been trying to offer various choices to international students in terms of the course offered. He said that PKU exhibited to the world its International characteristics in course content and the language used in teaching. Moreover, PKU was going to promote further the cooperation between Chinese and Arabian educational institutions by increasing the number of exchange students and enlarging scholars exchange scale. Mr. Issa H. Alansari thanked PKU for the welcome offered, after which he asked about the education of Arabic language at PKU, students learning the language and relevant exchange activities. Alansari said that he hoped that PKU and Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Universit could organize more exchanges programs to benefit both students and scholars.
