Peking University, March 18, 2026: Davron Abdurashidov, First Deputy Executive Director of Uzbekistan's El-Yurt Umidi Foundation, led a delegation to Peking University (PKU) on March 12 to explore avenues for educational collaboration between Uzbekistan and the university.

The delegation was warmly received by Fang Fang, Vice President of PKU, who expressed the university’s readiness to deepen collaboration with the Foundation over joint student training in areas where PKU has a distinct advantage.

In response, Abdurashidov introduced the Foundation's pivotal role in Uzbekistan's national talent strategy. He also expressed hope to establish a regular cooperation mechanism with PKU.

The El-Yurt Umidi Foundation aims to finance scholarships for young Uzbek students to enroll in master’s and doctoral programs within prestigious universities and research centers around the world.
