Peking University, June 15, 2026: On June 9, a delegation from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy of Uzbekistan, led by First Vice-Rector Akram Umarov, visited Peking University (PKU). Fang Fang, vice president of PKU, met with the delegation at Linhuxuan.
Fang Fang stated that PKU has long been committed to expanding exchanges and cooperation with Uzbekistan’s higher education sector, and has established sound communication mechanisms with several Uzbek higher education institutions. He expressed hope that this visit would serve as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation between the two universities in joint research and people-to-people exchanges.
Umarov expressed his gratitude for the warm reception. He introduced the latest developments at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy of Uzbekistan, adding that he looked forward to expanding avenues for cooperation and exchange between the two universities.
