Peking University, August 22, 2026: A Peking University (PKU) delegation led by President Gao Song visited South Korea from Aug. 13 to 15, as part of efforts to strengthen cultural exchanges and mutual understanding between the two countries.

Gao Song met with the presidents of Taejae University, Ewha Womans University, Seoul National University, and Chey Institute for Advanced Studies. PKU is set to increase cooperation with these partner institutions across a range of initiatives, from the Beijing Forum and CAMPUS Asia to women's leadership development programs and youth exchanges.

The delegation also paid a courtesy call on Dai Bing, the Chinese ambassador to the Republic of Korea, who thanked PKU for its efforts to promote Sino-Korean cooperation and pledged support for more exchange activities. At SK bioscience, the delegation discussed with corporate leaders the expansion of university-industry collaboration, applications of artificial intelligence in life sciences and healthcare, and global public health.
